Maintal, Germany, June 2, 2020 – NORMA Group, a global market leader in engineered joining technology, is expanding its product portfolio in the water management sector in Europe to include the Guyco brand NORMA Ball Valve. The ball valve is used to control water flow in the pipes of irrigation systems, on sports fields, in public parks and on large agricultural areas, for example.

“With our water management solutions, we support our customers worldwide in using water efficiently,” said Dr. Michael Schneider, CEO of NORMA Group. “We are now expanding our product portfolio in Europe by launching the NORMA Ball Valve. The NORMA Ball Valve allows easy opening and closing to regulate the water flow. The product is constructed using high-quality non-corrosive materials, including glass fiber-reinforced nylon. The ball valve is designed to handle pressure of 16 bar; the “Full Flow Design” minimizes pressure loss. It is available with female threads only or with male and female thread, so that no further adapters are needed. Due to its UV resistance, the NORMA Ball Valve remains functional even under strong sunlight.
