Italy: Venice will host worldexpo on water in 2015

Next year, during the worldexpo in Milano, Venice will host a special exhibition on water. Aquae Venezia 2015 will focus on the importance of water for life. The new pavilion, located in the industrial Area of Porto Marghera, will host exhibitions, conferences, water-related activities and technological innovations.
The initiative will cost 40 million euros and is organised by Expo Venice, with Fondazione Umberto Veronesi, eAmbiente, Federutility and UN Water. All aspects of water will be part of the exposition. Think about the environment, climate change. agriculture, industry, food and health. It will become clear that water is an essential source for life, but not an inexhaustible resource. According to the organisation the event is not only interesting for the general public, but also for water professionals.
Aquae Venezia will be opened from the 3th of May until 31 of October.
